Entrepreneur celebrates 20 years of success.

Probably few slaughterhouse workers dream of putting their knives on the shelf and replacing the hard work with a career as a software pioneer. However, this is exactly how entrepreneur Benny Filtenborg from Holstebro created the company Accuratech 20 years ago.

Benny left the chickens and moved into the office, where he got a taste for computer technology, and then it took off. First the trip went to Scanvaegt in Aarhus, and then to Danish Crown in Herning, where working as a programmer inspired the idea of developing his own software for Danish food processors. After much hard work and perseverance, the entrepreneurial dream came true. 

This isn't a fairy tale; it's a true story of perseverance and vision. Meet Benny Filtenborg, the man behind Accuratech, a successful tech company rooted in people-centric values. As Accuratech celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, the journey of growth continues.

With hard work both evenings and weekends and good sparring from former colleagues, customers, and competitors, Accuratech saw the light of day in 2004 - and the company can now celebrate its 20th anniversary with lots of success.

Software with people in focus.

Today, Accuratech is a tech company with 14 skilled colleagues who develop software for national and international customers. Complex solutions that control all processes in a modern manufacturing or food processing company - fully integrated with the companies' ERP. Flow of goods, registration of data, management of inventory and consumption as well as correct handling of traceability. Everything that ensures optimal production and that has requirements from authorities and customers are met.

At the head of the strong team of developers is Director & Partner Søren Schultz Jespersen, who was picked up from one of the customers 10 years ago. Accuratech needed a skilled leader who would help invest in strategic growth - and cultivate that special culture, as always have been in the company. First and foremost, it is all about people, the colleagues, the customers, and their employees.

In a way, you could say that Accuratech has been working with ESG long before it became fashionable. Not because it sounded good. But because Benny has always been at the forefront of a culture focused on people. Employees need the best for them to thrive and deliver solutions that are attractive to the people who will use them – and the recipe is simple:

Accuratech, which today is part of the Scanvaegt Group, has been named a Gazelle growth company several times. However, even though there has been plenty of success on the journey, it is still celebrated every time a large company such as Thise, Royal Greenland, Varde Laks or FF Skagen chooses to become customers. Every single customer is an acknowledgement.

Growth is about being competitive and having attractive products that the market demands - and we work that in mind every single day. With a huge insight into processes - and a very special passion, complete solutions and individual packages are developed and maintained that create value on the floor, in the office and on the bottom line.

This has been the case ever since Benny and Søren met for a cup of coffee 10 years ago and decided that their production background and common view of the future should be used to create something major together. They could see that through a close partnership a great potential in the market could be achieved. Now, 10 years later, they've proven that they got it right.

The company's Manufacturing Execution System, ScanPlant NG, is today implemented in many Danish, Swedish and German companies. ScanPlant NG consists of several software packages that can be individually put together to give companies and employees exactly the solution that is most valuable.

The strategy is clear. Now it's about growth.

As they look ahead, Accuratech remains focused on strategic growth, driven by their deep understanding of processes and unwavering passion for delivering comprehensive solutions tailored to their clients' needs. With a well-consolidated group behind it, a strong management team and a development team in top shape, all options are open - and the goal is to take advantage of it. Strong plans have already been made for strategic development - and both sales and attracting new employees must be accelerated without compromising the quality, service and product development that is still Benny's passion and goal. There needs to be more people doing more of what works well.

The company's existing customers and partners will still experience the honesty, openness and transparency that is the foundation. What is new will be a more offensive and visible activity locally in Scandinavia and internationally.
