Mobile and flexible solutions – suitable for all companies

With hand-held terminals, you can use Mobility on the go – operators are not tied to a computer or a desk. The handheld terminals can scan goods in the warehouse and ensure that all products that are moved to another location are tracked. All movements can be registered and stored in the cloud, so that goods are not misplaced or lost, so that all employees with access to the storage system can find the goods that have been moved.

Default app

Mobility is a standard app for Android-based mobile computers (enhanced for industrial use), and in operation they are just like ordinary smartphones. The app also works on Honeywell Mobile Computers as well as on tablets and devices inside vehicles.

Reduce wasted time

Mobility's design is easy to understand and user-friendly. The operator does not have to waste valuable time figuring out how to perform certain actions, this ensures minimum training time. The paperless management also reduces working time, as all data is available online – no need to print various documents and handle them manually.

Online integration

The handheld terminals communicate online to the ScanPlant system via a WiFi network. Most of the software's functions work even when the computer does not have access to WiFi.

Paperless operation - better for the environment

With Mobility, you can operate completely paperless. The operator can send order confirmations, packing slips, etc. with a single push of a button. If you don't want to go paperless, the terminal can also print labels for the shipments. The pick lists can also be displayed directly on the terminal, so you don't need a printed/physical list.

Registration for storage

When the goods are ready from production and have been labeled with a barcode, the operator can register the stock arrival of the new goods in Mobility by scanning the barcode. Now the items appear in inventory reports.

Warehouse overview with stock movement

Mobility also handles goods movements from one warehouse location to another – e.g. from a main warehouse to production or vice versa. Stock movements can also be shown from the production floor to a specific warehouse location or even a specific warehouse location.

Stock movements can be registered even if the terminal is offline or outside the range of the Wi-Fi network.

Check and management of stock

A warehouse is often divided into different departments with sub-locations. With ScanPlant Office2 and Mobility, it is easy to carry out regular checks and reviews of stock, as management can be handled separately for each location. The goods at the selected location are scanned – and if there are differences, the warehouse can be adjusted automatically. Deviations are always reported.

Inventory

With Mobility stock count, shows a "live view" of current stock directly on a handheld terminal in the warehouse. You first choose which warehouse, as well as which dimension of the warehouse is to be counted, and the terminal shows how many pallets and parcels are in stock of each item number at the selected location.

It is subsequently possible to select either a specific item or the entire warehouse/dimension and confirm the correct quantity at the location, or start the stock count. The inventory count module simplifies the process for a continuous count, as operators can count up when inventory is low. All data is all registered in ScanPlant Office and reports can be generated with shrinkage and current status etc.

Order picking and shipping

ScanPlant Mobility also handles the picking of items in the warehouse for sales orders. On the handheld terminal, the open sales orders are displayed to the operator in an electronic pick list. Once the operator has selected a sales order, the terminal is ready to scan the ID barcode on the items. They are then registered to the sales order, and then exported, ready for external invoicing. Mobility also checks that the correct items are scanned for the selected order.

Once items have been scanned for a specific order, they are packed onto a pallet and an SSCC shipping label is automatically printed.

Loading for transportation

Orders already packed and registered to sales orders can be scanned for a specific item shipment. In this way, the truck that transports the goods has full documentation of which orders are included. It is also possible to register several trucks if the shipment is distributed over several loads. The information is often important for customers who export, so they can keep an eye on orders and shipments.

Consumption

With Mobility Consumption, goods consumption for production can be registered, from the warehouse and directly into the production line or department via the handheld terminal. In addition consumption to line and/or department, it is also possible to register for a specific order.

Current Stock is adjusted with the number of units/boxes/pallets that are registered for consumption.
